  1. Q:  We‚Äôve experienced an explosion of new media in 
  2. the last ten years. What new media would have 
  3. fascinated your father? What do you think he 
  4. would be studying now?

  6. A:  Oh, heavens. All of them I imagine. VR, virtual 
  7. reality. That would be interesting, but mildly so. It 
  8. may have a very big impact in a few years so it‚Äôs 
  9. worth looking at now while it‚Äôs still new. Things are 
  10. visible when they‚Äôre new and when they‚Äôre very old. 
  11. In the meantime when they‚Äôre everywhere, they‚Äôre 
  12. invisible, and that‚Äôs what makes them very hard to 
  13. study, the present.
